THEORETICAL AND METHODOLOGICAL PRINCIPLES OF ENSURING THE DEVELOPMENT OF THE TOURISM INDUSTRY ON THE PRINCIPLES OF SOCIAL RESPONSIBILITY
Abstract
Introduction. The current stage of functioning of economic relations at the micro-meso and macro levels is characterized by increasing influence of the social component. It largely shapes the principles of inter-economic relations, the conditions for the use of resource potential. These features fully apply to all sectorial areas of business in Ukraine, including the tourism industry. In the article on certain inconsistencies in understanding the principles of functioning of the recreational industry and its components within the economic space of Ukraine. The purpose of this article is to develop and substantiate ways to optimize the theoretical and methodological support for the effective development of the tourism industry on the basis of social responsibility. Results. The results of the study prove the importance of improving methodological approaches to assessing the activities of the tourism industry on the basis of social responsibility. The article develops an algorithm for studying the level of efficiency of the tourism industry on the basis of social responsibility. It is a step-by-step study of the internal and external environment of the national tourism industry, its potential and prospects for functioning in accordance with the principles of social responsibility. Conclusions. The article investigates the theoretical and methodological principles of ensuring the development of the tourism industry in Ukraine. The necessity of implementation of the principles of socially responsible economic activity in the processes of functioning of the national sphere of recreational services and its components is proved. A set of factors that determine the specifics of the tourism business in modern conditions. Emphasis is placed on the need to optimize the theoretical and methodological tools for studying the nature of economic activity of the components of the tourism industry in Ukraine. The expediency of using integrated indicators, the information base of which is the results of index analysis of socio-economic relations.
