THEORETICAL FOUNDATIONS OF THE CONCEPTS: GOVERNANCE, SUSTAINABLE AGRICULTURE, POST-WAR RECONSTRUCTION
Abstract
The global economy has faced many challenges in the past, but none more pressing than the food crisis and the food price crisis it has faced in the recent past. Sustainable agriculture is a powerful approach that puts the health of the planet, people and ecosystems first. By adopting sustainable farming practices, we can produce nutritious food, protect natural resources, conserve biodiversity and mitigate climate change. Sustainable agriculture is the cornerstone of a resilient and environmentally friendly food system. By adopting environmentally friendly farming practices, we can improve soil health, protect water resources, conserve biodiversity and reduce the use of chemicals. The transition to sustainable agriculture is not only an ethical choice, but also a practical approach to ensuring food security, protecting the environment and mitigating climate change. The purpose is to analyse the theoretical foundations and conduct a comparative analysis of the concepts of "management", "sustainable agriculture", and "post-war recovery". Research methods: bibliographic analysis; analysis; synthesis; comparative analysis. Governance plays a key role in sustainable agriculture and post-war recovery. Effective governance of sustainable agriculture will contribute to the implementation of such tasks as: increasing agricultural productivity and ensuring food security; environmental protection and conservation of natural resources; improving the welfare of the rural population; and creating sustainable rural areas. However, in view of the above, sustainable agriculture management has its own peculiarities, which are related to the complexity of agricultural systems; uncertainty of the external environment (martial law, pandemics); and the need to take into account the needs of different stakeholders. Given the fact that post-war recovery is a complex process that requires careful planning and coordination of efforts of many economic agents from different institutional sectors, sustainable agriculture governance in post-war recovery is designed to address the following tasks: setting recovery priorities; attracting resources; coordinating the actions of various actors; monitoring recovery progress.
